I don't get it.
Assuming the 200m time of 2:15 should read 4:15 (given you said decline from 3:40)
That means you swam faster for the 400 than the 200. | Guessing it's a typo and should have been 4:15 |
Yes meant 4.15 and yes I swam quicker in the 400. Did it as warmup then 400/300/200/100 and so was getting tired and slowed down.

So two swim sessions at the local tri club. Coach has helped me with some technique drills and I gained 4 seconds over 100m and it felt like less work. Let's hope there's some more low hanging fruits to be had.

worst swim set ever
2 x 50m Medley (12.5m Butterfly, back, brest, crawl)
2 x 100m medley
2 X 200m medley
2 X 100m medley
2 X 50m medley
20 second rest intervals
repeat a second time
This was followed by 8 x 25m no breathing with 30 sec RI
followed by 400m kick
I was in pieces by the end

On the first session back after a shoulder operation you did 2km straight swim?
