Seriously struggling with this guy's "achievement".

Lewis Pugh is one of the most experienced sea swimmers around, yet it took him 3 attempts to get around Dungeness this week. Yet Ross, appears to have had no setbacks or issues in progressing around the country?

Something doesn't stack up Confused

The comedy is getting a bit wooden around here.

If he drifts too much, he might get beeched.

He might be better off getting in the boat and rowan

(better late than never eh?)

Looking like he's going to finish on Sunday, he's hoping people go out and swim the final stretch with him apparently. 156 days should be the final total.

Disappointed that the BBC couldn't name him in their headline...

really! that's a shame.

i was lucky enough to be one of the tail swimmers coming in with him. The atmosphere was fantastic and there was a lot of love for him out there.

Ive a sneaky suspicion i spotted Towel in the crowds, but could have been a lookalike too.

That wasnt cold, unless you were skins.

Perhaps hardened to it through a winter of OW swimming but if you get the chance, do Neptune Steps!

I’m just a pussy, AND I was fully neoprened up!But the Neptune steps looks very interesting. Just clocked your Instagram pic with Mr Edgley. BTW, congrats on the Thames Meander win yesterday, didn’t realised you were running it until I just checked the results. I was running the same stretch, (home patch), hoping to tag along with some of you, but got all my timings cocked up. I could’ve had a nice cuppa ready for you. Laughing

You doubted he'd do it in 100 days ?

Good point, but no - I doubted he would swim the full distance at all.

I’d forgotten the parameters...

I had noticed that original aim was largely unmentioned but to give him credit... he did say that when interviewed on the one show last night.

Swimming isn't my thing but this definitely falls under the category of .... fun things to do if you can walk away from your job for several months and someone is going to pay for you to do it.
