Wow, well done Matt, that's a lot of loss, I'm guessing your appearance had changed a bit and most of your clothes don't fit.
I had a go on the scales tonight, 75.7, so possibly a bit less, and that's despite the fact I've not trained for a week so the muscles should be heavy!

Sub 10 for you this year....? |
My focus at the moment is St Pölten, would really love to get a spot in Nice, but its going to need a 4h30m finish time, which looks like a daunting challenge.
Sub 10 would be great, but not entered any IM events yet and I am pretty much out of weekends, but may go for a Nirvana entry to Barcelona

71.1kg on my " recovery" week
Ill take that!
Matt
The 70.3 World has gone mad, the times required for a 50 year old to get a spot at the Worlds is pretty staggering.
Im doing Deva 70.3 which i believe is a qualifier for the Euros? Its a warm up for IMUK.
You should do a full while your in good shape, if its non branded...so what.

70.0kg this morning. Follows some readings earlier in the week of 70.8 and 70.7. This is the first week I've had a consistent week of readings under 71. I think there's some fluid loss factored into the latest reading, but something starting with a 6 is in sight...

I've stalled on 78 despite increased training. But I'm also constantly hungry and don't want my effort to drop due to lack of energy so I have been eating more.

Bit late to this thread but I've been on the path to abs this year so thought I'd join in.
5 years ago I was in my best shape at 72kg but kids, knee injury and a general malaise saw me balloon to 94kg.
Back on it at the start of the year and lost plenty - from 94 to 82.5kg. Hoping to shift the other 10kg in time for August races but just happy it's all in the right direction.
The real goal is to get back to beating my PBs set in my twenties with few commitments, in my mid-late 30's with kids, family and a career by the 2020 season. So this year is about getting back in to shape quickly, then do a slow build for next year and race strong.

After a week cycling in Mallorca & eating like a horse I now have 1.5 KG to lose I'm hoping it's mainly retained water from increase in calorie intake but either way it needs to go....
