I saw that. I can't see how that works at all. It seems like a disaster waiting to happen. You could seriously end up with people getting caught in the cord of others, flailing ensues, and something really bad happening.

Can’t see the water going up 3 degrees by the morning, even with the temperature today.
Saw somewhere else that we’re not allowed to race after the Elites on Sunday.
Trying to get clarification

Dunno.
We have our own wave, so maybe when they do the swim briefing then?

Nice to meet you all, put faces to names and all that. Those affected by the change in cut off time yesterday, may need to email them if it means you did different races that then didn't count. From what I gather, Blenheim's Weekend warrior is better, perhaps I'll see some of you there next year?

great work Batman & funkster, it was fun. funkster kept me on my toes all weekend. thoroughly enjoyed it, and great to have some bike mojo to play with, especially on sunday dashing out to Westminster and back 3 times, and through the Limehouse Tunnel.
tho yes, it's even better at Blenheim, which is Oarsum. Blenheim is just Sprints (and the odd SuperSprint) so there's less issue with multi distances, and the sw1m course has zonal kayak safety, so just get in and go anytime. no issues. funkster was unlucky not to get 2x Olympics in on Sunday (and a Sprint), but I admire his raciness, and in trying to play the rules.
funkster - We c0cked up tho, should have done 2x Olympics on Sunday (103k total) instead of just the Olympic Plus (91.5k total), doh! so we wont be troubling the top of the leaderboard?
Personally I relished the lovely hot weather, like being abroad FFS

Yeah I knew we could have done 2 Oly's but my legs wouldn't have managed the 12 (well, 14) miles of running on the Sunday
We could have done what the others did and had a rest after the first Oly and done another, rather than the sprints
You deserved it mate.
I went for bust......and busted.
That second sprint on Saturday killed me.
They didn't adjust my Sunday race to the Oly plus, but you still took me for 2:20 overall

Well done tc. I lost mojo after 2 on Saturday so stayed in bed on Sunday. Spent all afternoon on Sunday regretting it. The event felt a bit cheap and amazed the runs was out by 20-25% quite an accomplishment! Well done everyone who did more than 2!

Congrats to all.
I was aiming for 5 but did 3, and was a little hacked off. A bit happier now I’ve seen most others did 3 too.
Surprised We did any at all after the delayed start. Was it 1 lap or 2??

Hi all
any of you doing Blenheim Weekend Warrior? I managed to get a place when they released the extra 50. Hoping it is better organised than the London version last year. Batman will be hoping for a better result this time. Funkster was it you that holds the Blenheim record of 9 Sprints?
