Ah, so my insider (someone who regularly officiates at x/c) had it wrong....that's good! He was not best pleased that there was a chance it wouldn't be the proper distance.

Glad you two got to recover with the good stuff!

Yep - I understand the north england xc champs were 12k and the nationals are 12k too - something to do with fitting in with international distance - or maybe to give Alistair Brownlee* a chance at the nationals Confused Wink Very Happy

* I think he came 8th at north england xc champs yesterday
