Are bonger's legendary turbo sessions in a thread anywhere? I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Could you tell me how to do that please. I've seen it mentioned before but I've no idea what it is.

I am a complete newbie to triathalons, but i have a decent level of fitness as an infantryman in the army. Which training programme would you best reccomend for someone looking to get the ball rolling, with the prospect of doing an ironman in the next couple of years?

And also, what do you reccomend, would be the best route to take, on the road to ironman? start with some small triathalons, work towards a half ironman, then a full one?

Many thanks,

Ryan

I know it was "bumped" recently, but here it is for this thread.

Learn from others mistakes - http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6634

I was looking for some stuff for my mate's first IM and remembered these:

Towel's Top 10 IMUK Swim Tips - http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34576

Towel's Top 10 IMUK Run Tips - http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34584

Towel's Top 10 IMUK Bike Tips - http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34551

Towel's Top 10 Tips for IMUK Finish - http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34605

Whilst some of it is specific to the old IMUK course, many of the tips are universal.

Race Strong, Paul. Very Happy
