Are bonger's legendary turbo sessions in a thread anywhere? I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Could you tell me how to do that please. I've seen it mentioned before but I've no idea what it is.

I am a complete newbie to triathalons, but i have a decent level of fitness as an infantryman in the army. Which training programme would you best reccomend for someone looking to get the ball rolling, with the prospect of doing an ironman in the next couple of years?
And also, what do you reccomend, would be the best route to take, on the road to ironman? start with some small triathalons, work towards a half ironman, then a full one?
Many thanks,
Ryan

Anything to do with tri bikes i have learned from Dan Empfield, good guy- good writer , invented the steep angled bike.
Lore Of Running-tim noakes, excellent book.
Swimsmooth - another nice guy, keeps it #@?# free.

One of the best bits of training advice that I've ever given: http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46092&start=8

Great stuff AndyS, thanks for that. As I come across various things I'll add it to the list to - as will many I suspect

i'm always looking for but never seem to be able to find that 'What not to do in a race' thread that is both entertaining and informative. perhaps it deserves a sticky in here next to 'bike setup'?
