Just transferred my entry from IM UK.
Course looks good - bike flattish and fast, but I fear the usual Euro draft fest.
Starting on the logistics this weekend.
Anyone else in?

I'm in.
Transferred from Austria due to lingering winter illness.
With Nice and Wales in the bag last year will be nice to do a fast course.
No logistical plans yet!

And is this likely to be a non wetsuit swim?
I thought in the Med, after a summer's sun it's got to be surely??

Barcelona has always been non wetsuit (1st weekend Oct), so not sure this part of the Med will be significantly warmer?

I've always used my wetsuit at Barcelona (3 times), although they were optional last year not many people went without?

With regards to logistics, have booked flights (into Bologna) and hotel only. Haven't sorted out transfer yet. Will be travelling with my bike.
I'm sincerely hoping that wetsuits will be optional as I need all the help I can get. I don't know too much about that coast but as it's a sea swim, I'd be a little surprised if they are banned.

I'm in - flying in and out of Venice as going to spend a few days there after the race. Bike transport through bikeboxonline.co.uk (assuming no problems with Austria in July). Staying at the Universal Hotel in Cervia.
Very much hoping for wettie swim: https://www.seatemperature.org/europe/italy/rimini-september.htm - says ave 22.7 on 23rd Sept
Surely this must be the mother of all pasta parties?

How will you sort out the transfer?

I'm going to get a quote from Nirvana, I'll be on my own so it'll be easier to get someone else to deal with all the logistics!
I am keen

Do they do airport<->hotel transfers only? Or will you be sending your bike with them too?
If the former, I'd be keen to know what they quote you if you don't mind?
