Guy suing Oxford uni for £1million for 'inadequate teaching'.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-42070712

I hear Wiggo might have something similar in mind related to not being given adequate rowing lessons at school, should he miss the boat in 2020

Laughing

Should have gone to a proper university like I did (Herriot-Watt) then he would have been sorted.

Seriously, even common room chats at Oxford can be enormously educational, and what you hear in the corridors , well......

Suing Oxford I ask you, I would be giving them money if I could. Oh actually I do.

A guy I used to work with has become a uni lecturer (in Surveying) and apparently it's very different from our day. For one students actually turn up theses days and they are not even hung over.

He says there is actually quite a lot of pressure on them as if students don't feel their class is excellent they will complain. I suppose this is what happens when you pay £40k or what ever it is for a degree theses days.

It was years ago when this guy studied. He's just a total ar$e, laying blame for his own lack of intelligence citing that he would have been an internaational commercial lawyer by now if he had his first!! Very Happy Very Happy

Am I allowed to sue my first girlfriend for the fact that I am a terrible lover with a swathe (2) of disappointed women left in my wake?

I'm waiting to be sued by my first girlfriend.

I tried so hard to lose my virginity with her and made such a bad job of it, I discovered 20 years later she had become a lesbian.

Surely if he wins the case he proves himself to be a brilliant lawyer, therefore disproving his own case? If he loses, then he might have a case, which in turn disproves his case.

What was the question again?

Genius, I had a proper little chuckle to myself. (I do work in a room on my own)
