Blimey, bet that gives you a headache the morning after.
Or maybe a nice, rosy glow.

What, talking to Sloggers? The former, definitely not the latter | whats the world coming to, can’t even get peace in the pub.
Wouldn’t be so bad, but I hardly drink nowadays. It’s enough to drive you to a Guinness. Nigerian please.
Cold. Icy cold.

He came to my school back in the 80's to give a talk - I remember him as one hell of a character. Inspirational.
IIRC correctly I think he sawed off the ends of his own fingers at home after they 'died' after frostbite.

Yeh, but the big jessie went and bought a brand new super fine blade rather than the rusty old hacker that had been in the corner of the shed for the last 5 years.

i am very relieved to read that the Freemasons have agreed to retain trans women in their membership provided they were men when they joined....

Careful! I was watching something the other night that reckoned they'd got the Arc of The Covenant and the Holy Grail.

Indiana Sloggers will be there to recuse them soon... | Funny
You’re 20 years behind the time ejc!
jaRok2300, and there was me thinking that Edinburgh Castle had the arc and the grail was to be found in each and every one of us.
Re the masons jaRok, what confused me at first was how even in England there are perhaps half a dozen plus fraternities (I haven’t counted for a decade), though one dominant one, and you can factor that up in Europe, where iirc Italy alone has c200 grand lodges. You may find French masonry to be far more esoteric and inclusive than English masonry, as a general rule. Though there are UGLE and other English masons who helped me enormously in the past, and I remain in touch with some of them.
My point don’t believe all the hype (I doubt you do, but equally don’t necessarily believe everything a mason tells you, as some (10-20 years ago anyway ) are somewhat petty political and seem to have little knowledge of what is happening in their own backyard or that other fraternities even exist. But they are not recognised and not masons, I hear some masons shout!).
So says the man who was, as a Masonic reject, given the five points of fellowship in GQS, subsequently confirmed to have been that by other masons....blew me away, as I phoned a Masonic friend as I approached Covent Garden tube to find out what had just happened to me. Impossible I hear masons cry. Get over it. It happened. I didn’t ask for it to happen. I attended a meeting in the common room? That I was invited to, and at the end of it I got the fpof.
Caused some carfuffle at the time. One mason even told me that the men in suits would bar me from the building, which UGLE itself told me they had no reason to do.
See ejc, that’s what happens when you continue to take the proverbial.
The best bit was when a mason confirmed to me that I knew how to remove the sword from the stone. Probably best not to go there...
....now where is that dragon?

Still waiting on my bottle of Nigerian Guinness. The service in here is appalling. Does no one know how hot it is?

Is a trans woman one that appears to be a woman now and was a man previously, or appears to be a man and was a woman previously?
I’ll have a no-alcohol Ghost Ship please.
