Sunday looks trickier to get max distance.
If you do the Oly plus then you might not be able to get out again before the elites, but you could in theory do two olys
Can you do the Olympic Plus as part of weekend Warrior? Doesn't seem right as it gives a chance to maximise mileage but in different ratios to the 3 other distances? Guess it's the same for all though. I'm doing it in fancy dress and collecting money so it won't affect me anyway, lol.

[quote="funkster"]Saturday
11 AJ BELL INVEST SMART Sprint/Olympic 13:00
12 Female Sprint 13:40
13 Mixed Sprint 14:50
14 Male Sprint 14:00
Waves 12 and 13 are wrong, they should be 13:20 and 13:40 BTW.

[quote="funkster"]Saturday
16 Female Sprint (Hold Times) 15:20
17 Male Sprint (Hold Times) 15:40
Are we allowed in these 2 waves? What does it mean by (Hold Tiimes)?

[quote="funkster"]Problem with London is the massive trasnsition
From memory, you have to put your wetsuit in a bag and then up a couple of fights of stairs first.
You are right about the above, done it as a single race. Have you done weekend warrior before at london? Wondering about what we can put in transition, spare bottles or water to top up with or do they supply water to fill bottles?
Are we allowed in or behind any wave apart from elites? What about a male athlete following a female race wave? Or vice versa?

At Blenheim you can have a helper (Butler!) in transition.
There was a decent idiot guide provided for Blenheim this year so I'm surprised we haven't received that yet. It should answer the obvious Qs hopefully. We are passengers regardless!

Batman - I only took the wave times from the race guide online.
I assume where it says "hold times" it is dependent on the elite race.

Think it's the same here.
You get two wristbands - one for you and one for a helper who's allowed in transition.
Got my 73 year Mum on the case

Yes mate, they've amended them now, that makes Sense, I'm not fast, and in costume, I'm going to struggle to catch waves, hence was hoping we could get that last race in. I see you've posted the rules, TC must have missed that email., lol.
Does anyone know if we can go in any wave except elites waves? Just wondering about going in a female wave as a bloke and vice versa?
Looking forward to making you all laugh when you see me!
Cheers.

you dont even have to wait for a wve, you go see the starter , he takes your number and off you go doing the distance of the lasst wave. if you are within 5 minutes of a new wave or other WW's they may ask you to wait (for safety reasons)

You don't go in other waves as said. When you get back to start, see starter and off you go on your own following whatever course the previous wave went on. They stop you when elites on so you get a lunch break basically. It's all in the WW guide on the website.

My stupid plan for Saturday is this
10:30 WW Oly Wave
13:00 AJ Bell Sprint
14:20 TSB Oly wave
The tricky part is gonna be getting to the 14:20 wave.
If I can get to the water by 14:30 I should be ok as the next wave is at 14:40
