My new bike! Ordered it ages ago buts taken a while. 2017 P3, Ultegra DI2 throughout. Enve SES 6.7 with Powertap G3 on the rear, older style Enve 45mm on the front (hope to upgrade to the SES 6.7 soon). 3T Vola cockpit, spesh sitero pro saddle.

Went with team colours on the bar tape but think it clashes with the teal. May swap them to black.

Nice bike, but I take it you are quite tall from that!

Not sure about the green tape though Smile

Jeff

Yup 6'5''. I was keen on the P3 anyway but when I had the bike fit we could only find 3 bikes that were suitable. The Scott Foil, Spesh Shiv and the P3. 61cm frame on the P3 Smile. Had to wait 4 months as no one had it in stock.

Yeah I think the green was a mistake. Was trying to bring the club colours in but it doesn't work. Will swap to black.

As mentioned on another thread, I bought a set of cable operated hydraulic calipers from AliExpress recently. Finally got round to getting them installed and first impressions are extremely good. Not bedded in yet, but definitely strong from the start. If you are struggling with a set of cable operated calipers that are not performing, these could be worth a punt at the cost of a few sets of new pads. Plus they have a 'sale' on this weekend

My latets, although a few weeks ago now, was the new Osprey Duro 6 runnig pack/race vest: https://www.ospreyeurope.com/shop/gb_en/duro-6-17

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, and half the price of the Salomon equivalent. I have worn it for two big runs, 13 hours and 7 hours, both in pretty warm conditions in a vest with no rubbing, doesn't bounce. Just a well thought out piece of kit - as i find with all of their stuff, as i am a fan.

I've taken your recommendation and also bought one, looks nice and I'm hoping to use it this weekend.

Nice, 1x, is the front chainset a bit small, although given the tyres I'm guessing it will be ridden mostly off-road?

Just bought a 2nd hand Exocet2 frameset with bars and 11sp da/ultegra/105 for 500. It's lacking brake levers, chainset, cables, saddle and wheels, but I got a chainset with q-rings I've yet to try out plus my normal race wheels. And a few saddles in a box. So thinking with cables and brake levers I should be TT'ing again for around 600 (ex wheel cost)

I thought I was far too snob to buy a planet x but at that price it's hard to argue. I even think it'll look quite trick with some red cable outers and levers to go with my FFWD 60/disc. Smile

mostly on the cr*ppy lanes around here which may as well be off road...it's also quite lumpy, 1,200ft of climb over 13 miles each way on my commute...
