Pretty much taken my two slow breaths, finger firmly against trigger....any reason I shouldn't go ahead?

Cycle Powermeters sold their 21 July delivery immediately apparently, next delivery estimated in 10 days. Sigma have lots in stock at the same price, and given I have a cunning plan already in mind (ebay my P2Max/Rotor 3D+ to part fund), I might just have to put a headshot through the Assiomas before then.

Good call. Clever Training Europe are a bit hit and miss with pricing, even after the 10% off DCR code, but in this case, they are quite a bit cheaper after discount.
Jorgan - out of interest, what's the main motivation for moving to a new power meter? Flexibility of switching pedals between bikes? An issue with P2M? Something else?

Flexibility (all bikes).
My Classic P2Max has been faultless. It'll be going on ebay once the season is over, to part fund these pedals. The battery life is immense; I've only ever changed it annually before a big race, never because it's given me a low warning! If anyone's interested, it's a Classic P2M on Rotor 3D+ cranks & S Works 52/36 rings. I would imagine £350 plus on ebay without trouble.
There's a brand new set of Assiomas I'm watching in Romania, already up to £627 with 3 days left

I just bought a Classic P2M 3D24 with Rotor rings for 350 recently Jorgan, so yes.
I'd try on a forum/FB group first and see if you can avoid the 10% sting from ebay (plus 3.4% Paypal).
Oh, if you got a Rotor 3D24 tool to sell I'm in the market...

That's ebcause it's 30 euro plus 15 euro shipping from Power2Max who seems to be the only ones selling it. I just need to change some chainrings ffs.
My usual LBS doesn't have one but might call around to the others in the area to hear.

Why do you need the spider tool to change some chainrings?

Chainring doesn't fit over the battery compartment on the Classic. The kind of thing you find out after buying (used)...

I ended up buying the tool from P2M for my 3D+ (Bought 2nd hand without a crankset)
There was a place in Stratford (on Avon) that would fit it for me for about £10 (IIRC) but I decided I might as well get the tool in the long run in case I wanted to change things again in the future.

Well after the first payment bouncing due to bank safeguards, that's them ordered for £656 using the DCR discount code I'll put them on my Road Bike first, then sell my P2M once the season is over and get some normal cranks on the TT bike.
