Back for one year only, this will be the final ever Forestman. It really was the best event out there, superb RNF hospitality on a stunning but tough course. All the racers were like a family and the whole weekend was put on for the individual athletes to have a great time, not an accountants bottom line. It should be on everyones list and as it the last one well even mroe reason to race. It would be great to get everyone out for the last show, just like the old days, TriTalk blue white and black out in force! This is probably still the best IM in the UK.

Oh and a list, just like the old days!

Both glad and sad to be doing one last Forestman.

Racing (or doing the event anyhow) by coincidence in alphabetical order:

Beaulieu was my first half and Forestman (2011)my first full when I got back into tri. Bitter-sweet memories of that race. Probably should go back and rid myself of those demons. (that hill though!)

Richard has confirmed that it will be run out of Moyles Court not Sandy Balls, which looks to be at Ellingham. Course will be "almost the same". i imagine the run will enter the ridge another way and maybe it will be a true 3 laps on the bike so maybe means no Nomandsland loop and climb on the first lap. Thats a shame Wink

I'm definitely up for doing one last ForestMan, the only race I like more is the Swashbuckler so it looks like the final running of that one will be my last long training day before FM19.

I think the Boskman was one of the best events I have ever done.

Will look to do the ForestMan, but have been thinking about doing a double at Avon Tyrell which is likely to be 2 weeks before hand, so not entirely sure, but guess I could limp round... would not make much difference to my time anyway...

I assume the cycle is really only 180km and there is a typo on the entry page? Smile

Decisions decisions....this or a European one? Do we think it will fill up before Roth entries open?

it won’t be full 15mins after Roth opens, just don’t wait 25mins. (Do both thou) not just one., well only 1 if u don’t get into Roth.

Oh and how cool would it be if it was 280km bike!!
