Wouldn't have happened with disc brakes Wink

Correct - it would have been much worse as the hole would have widened much more before the tyre blew and the spare bit of tyre would not have been able to fill the larger hole.

At least the brake block blew the tyre when it was just a small hole Rolling Eyes

You've been quiet recently Graham; not wanting to take the risk of controversial comments online, given your country of residency Rolling Eyes Very Happy

I've been on leave for a while and enjoying the brisk Cornwall air !

They don't like comments made in the UAE about the UAE - they really don't care about a UK or US hosted website.

Besides, its fun sitting outside of the debacle caused by Remainers who would rather fight their own parliament, support the Brussels parasites and damage their own country and citizens than support a democratic decision Very Happy

I am naturally referring to this news piece; maybe it's not covered much over there?

https://news.sky.com/story/mum-held-in-dubai-for-calling-ex-husbands-new-wife-a-horse-back-in-uk-after-horrendous-ordeal-11691470

I tried to find a link from a site that wouldn't offend your political sensibilities Very Happy

Its covered as are all such cases. There arent too many but sadly Brits unable to zip it, seem to be the main culprits.

Its actually very civilised here when it comes to communications between people. Be polite, don't insult others and don't make rude gestures. If you do, and someone complains, then go to jail and don't collect $200.
