A friend of mine is doing Outlaw this year. Their plan for the run is the classic "walk the aid stations" but in order to train for that it would be good to know roughly how long the distance between the feed stations is.

On the website it says there are 10 of them on the run course but they aren't marked on the run route. Just wondered if anyone on here who has raced the event before knows roughly how frequently the feed stations are? Are they spread out fairly evenly or will there be parts of the run where you have to go a bit longer between stations?

Thanks

They are definitely further apart on the second lap, especially if you're having a bad day Wink

Did it in 2013 so not sure about run course changes. Back then they were every 2-3k and felt very close to each other and reasonably evenly spread out.

Couple of years ago they were relatively evenly spaced helped by the fact that the section to the Trent is an out and back route

Same for 2017, every 2-3km and dont remember any long stretches, but maybe ive suppressed those memories! There isn't anywhere on run route thats isolated so no reason for there to be long gaps
