I've ridden that course so many times, I don't think it's for me!

I've been married twice, and Sunday was definitely better than one of those times.

Me too, exceeded my expectations then and I got under my goal time of 14hrs. Looking forward to really taking in the atmosphere next year and focusing my training to go a bit better on the bike and run.
Got a friend doing it too; we're very close in terms of speed, so the race is on!

No matter how much you suffer you will love it.
I can only give 1 tip - hit the hills. Not long climbs. Short, punchy hills.
What a wonderful weekend it is, hopefully I’ll be back in 2020

2020 will be the 10 year anniversary of IM Wales.

Ive always thought I didn't want to do Wales because of the bike course. However reading this thread and speaking with some of my club colleagues who did it this year im very tempted to give it a shot. I cant do it next year but 2020 could be a special one, might be tempted to give it a shot!
Also tempted by long course weekend there as well

Oh dear
A slippery index finger/keyboard mishap and I'm back for No. 5.
Odds on a hot race with light winds?
Must happen at some point surely....weekends before and after were lovely this year IIRC.
