I have some posts to get there! But I do often put 21.12 litres in at
The petrol station.

Listened to Hemispheres for the first time in ages. Forgotten how awesome this album is.

I'm really finding it hard to come to terms with Rush actually being over.
They have literally been there all my life... every album represents a period in my life with associated memories.
Very hard to believe it really is over after all these years...

Yes, I know exactly what you mean IC:
... and likewise I couldn't help myself on holiday last year when I stood behind a woman in the airport queue with this luggage tag
One day; I shall acquire my own !!

I feel the same Gus - been the soundtrack of my life. I still only really listen to 3 bands most of the time - Rush (obviously:) The Mountain Goats and Steve Earle. I do some Radio 6 & other stuff just to make myself feel vaguely current but that's about it. Revisited the Fountain of Lamneth in the car today, just soooo good.
Still feel aggrieved that they didn't come over here for R40 - the UK was their biggest fanbase after the US and would have loved to see them one more time - I (almost) questioned my allegiance
Doug - great link thanks
- bit of a misleading headline as usual, but love reading anything/everything about Rush. Journalists never seem to realise that they never made a 'concept album' before CA but Hey-Ho. I still maintain that Rush are NOT a prog band. Sure they were proggy in the 70's, who wasn't at that time in that scene but listen to Counterparts ( and a lot of other stuff). I'm just too full of Rush love at the moment.
... is anyone still doing any Tri then ?

Gus, I know this might kick off more than the brexit thread, but I’ve found them pretty hard to get into. Sorry. Will persevere a bit more.

That looks sweet.
Really reminds me why I miss vinyl - the joy of opening a new album for the first time, reading all the small print...
This download generation really have no idea what they're missing.
