Been using my 735xt since early December and noticed a number of random dropouts on indoor bike sessions. I've barely ridden outdoors, due to weather, crash etc) so haven't got a lot to compare it to but no sign of it on runs or swims.

I'm using a P2M Power Meter, HR Strap & GSC-10 speed/cadence sensor (all Ant+) and they all drop out at the same time for anything between 5 & 30secs, maybe 3 times in an hour session or sometimes not at all.

Anyone experienced this or have any idea of possible causes?

Radio interference, of course identifying what it is the tricky thing...

If the OP had been SloggingScotsman, I'd have bet on bugs put in the house by a CIA/MI5/KGB hit squad Wink

I had similar on the odd occasion with my P2M and its connection to Trainerroad. As Jim said, the Trainerroad guys suggested internal house based interference. Wifi, the microwave, etc, can all apparently impact.

I've not seen it occur in some time, and I never really changed anything, but like you, it never once occurred outdoors.

I tend to record everything on both trainerroad and my Garmin. Normally, any dropouts only occur on one of them, so I usually have a full training file to use/upload

Thanks for the replies, hopefully I'll get some outdoor rides in soon to compare a decent sample of time.

I've got a couple of old Garmins so will try recording on multiple devices to see how that goes.

For the benefit of any spooks watching/listening can I publicly state I have no idea of the whereabouts of any submarines or Argentinian strikers.

(Too soon?)

Nah, it's fine. You've just made sure GCHQ is now tracking this thread.
