76.6kg. 😠
My aim is to get down to 72kg by the end of April. Given up chocolate and crisps, a particular weakness and will eat slower with a smaller plate. I’m like a Labrador in that I’m a very quick and greedy eater. Hopefully slowing down and being more conscious of what I’m eating might help.

I was 73.8 yesterday morning. Target weight is 73.0 in the off-season, and 72.0 during race season. I should be back around 73 again in no time, now that the pigging-out season is over! I ate a ridiculous amount Christmas Day Rolling Eyes

My wife wants to do a dry January for the first time, so will join her in solidarity. I will probably replace alcohol with cheese & biscuits or something though! My birthday is the first week in February, so that seems like a good time to fall off the wagon again Very Happy

We're not big drinkers generally, but I do look forward to a drink on Friday night, once the kids are settled. That will be the big test!

I've not has a good autumn/winter

I am probably my heaviest since I started training 8ish years ago.

I have enough alcohol from gifts to open a bar, so dry January is out. And we still have the remainder of the Christmas treats. To demolish. With no set plans for next year either.

It's going to be hard to shift the weight.

I will do an official weigh in tomorrow morning.

But unlike the rest of you, I am actually overweight not 70kg with body dysmorphia and targets to lose 2/3 kg Rolling Eyes

Came off my bike a week before Christmas (nothing too drastic but a nasty graze over most of one thigh) which hasn't helped my starting point for 2019.

Managed 30mins on the turbo yesterday wearing budgie smugglers (how about that for a throwback to the 80/90s) so hoping to get my arse into gear this week, other than swimming.

Start point 105.1kg, target 90kg - hmmm this ain't going to be quick!

Ps. Apologies for the 105kg bloke in budgie smugglers image I've scarred you with.

i was once a big drinker - came with the territory - and have found myself creeping back towards a nightly tipple or three...

I haven't weighed in for a while, and I'm a little scared to do so. Will assess the damage tomorrow morning.

Two weeks prior to Copenhagen I was under 70kg. Lowest recorded was 68.4kg 13 days prior on 6th Aug. I ballooned a bit to 74.4kg by early September, and then trimmed back down again to 71.4kg a week before heading to the ETU champs in Ibiza (17th Oct).

Managed to hold that steady before Bahrain and was 71.3kg two weeks before that race (25/11). However, since then has been a scary ride of booze booze booze, and currys galore. Last weigh in was Christmas Eve, where I came in at 75.9kg, and I fear it's only got worse.

I've really been feeling sore after any kind of running since I tried to get back into things over the holidays, and the significant extra weight is no doubt a contributing factor. I don't really do NY resolutions, but I've definitely used the end of "holiday season" since waking up from my NYE party to kick start an attempted return to healthier eating.

Aim will be down under 70kg again for VLM. Ideally I'd get to something nearer 67.5kg given the significant benefit that would likely have on speed, but I'm not sure that's realistic.

I'm with Stenard here, dreading a weigh-in, although I suspect I'll be around 76kg's which isn't far of where I normally am.

Would like to get down to 74 for the 50 miler in March, and same again in September for Nice, but I find it hard work to lose weight, partly because I'm too greedy and have a sweet tooth.

My biggest weakness tends to be chocolate milk drinks.

All the Christmas cakes I got aren't helping either.
