seem to be alot of summer spending sprees going on recently.
so here's a thread to brag about it on... i felt guilty hijacking anyone elses but let me make it clear you are welcome to hijack this one.

but only after i tell you all i just bought a brand spanking new green swimhat Mad

oh and some rudy project rydon glasses with 'laser blue' and smoke lenses.

so many things i could buy at the moment but i've had to prioritise them in terms of safety! e.g. i like my eyes!
shoes next as i quite like having functional legs too..... and then goggles.

I bought a new pair of Speedo Speedsockets today - my old ones "expired" during a swim session last night.
Bargain at £16.99 - had my last pair for over 2 years Very Happy

Oooh, a new kit section! Due to my inability to walk out of a shop without something for my tri season, today I bought:

1 x huge England beach towel with free England flag
2 x pack away chairs
1 x picnic back pack
1 x picnic blanket that fits in the back pack

We've spotted an opportunity for a lake side picnic every friday after my swim. Be a shame to miss out on it!

Went into Windsor after an open water swim at Heron Lake, thought we'd go shopping at SBR - nearly bought an Orca tri suit, but they didn't have my size so instead I bought:
- another pair of elastic laces !

Whohoo, elastic laces. Always useful for the 'need to buy' fix.

I also forgot the track pump I bought off ebay, £9.99. Bargain. You've heard about my QR tri suit so I won't mention it Very Happy

I really need to curb my spending. Crying or Very sad

Did I mention that I got myself a new .... Very Happy Wink

Got my wetsuit yesterday at Sigma, chap let me change down where they keep all the bikes waiting to be picked-up as it was so busy upstairs.

Drool !!!! Some seriously nice kit. I was expecting it to be really difficult to get the wet suit on but wasn't as bad as I thought.

Also got myself one of the co2 pumps as well and a bottle of SIS carb drink.

That's my lot now for a while

Havnt bought anything exciting for a while drools... Trying to justify to myself a pair of Oakley glasses with 2 interchangeable lenses at about £130. Managing without glasses since by others broke 2 weeks ago. Might compromise and go for some cheaper ones though.

Did hire a wetsuit from TriUK this week though.

Now where did I leave my credit card....

X-lab saddle wing with'all the toys' on it... they saw me coming, frankly. Got it in white to match the bike and, actually, it's rather good. Very much easier to get to my drinks bottles while on the move AND replace them. Got some of those CO2 things as well - are they any good??

As part of the package I got a 'hook' for placing the bike in transition. They'd left the individual price sticker on it - maybe we ought to have a 'mug of the week' thread....

I've got some Nike mirrored goggles. They look absolutely spiffing, and are very uncomfortable on the cheekbones (as are most goggles, though Crying or Very sad ).
