Oulton on Sunday
Standard distance

Will probably be my slowest outing for a bit as lots of 30 kph cycling encourages 30 kph cycling.....

See how we go at least i know i wont smash my carbon on a pothole and no one will run me over.

Good luck to all at both events.

A full ten mins slower.....than 12 months ago.
Disaster struck, dropped bottle, repeated cramp on final run...
Amazed to win the age group!
The wind was very strange...

Oh well they can’t be all be good days...

Onwards !

I'll be out for a hit out at Bedford. I did it last year too, so if you'd like to know any details about the course or the accuracy of the legs, let me know!

First 10k is basically bang on the correct distance. 4 loops, and it's completely flat. 22 feet of elevation across the 10k according to my Garmin last year.

The bike was actually more like 36km and again is dead flat. 8 laps of the below course. The only corner you need to really slow down for is the tightest of the hairpins, but I took it at over 20mph every time last year.

Final run is just a touch over 5k.[/url]
