I'm still here (albeit infrequently) and even doing some cycling, running and swimming, although nothing competitive
Oddly enough I was scanning the skies tonight looking for Jupiter and Saturn (whilst thinking about the difference between Sun and Moon:) when my Pocket Universe app picked up this :

I have just dipped an experimental ear into Rush - figured after 100 odd pages of wittering that it might be worth a listen.
It's actually not awful.
Just listening to most played on Spotify right now - where should I start album wise?

Oh Ron, I envy you... imagine discovering Rush for the first time and all those albums about to get a first ever listen...
It'll be like taking heroine for the first time... (how on earth I know that I have no idea) 
Anyway, depends upon what sort of music you tend to like as their catalogue extends from the old, heavy, hard-core, through the slightly synth'ed through to modern, complex rock. Or something like that.
Anyway, I always recommend first dibs should be one of their more mainstream albums - Moving Pictures.
Let us know how you get on, I want to bathe vicariously in your aural orgasm.

I loved it!
To my untrained ear, an interesting meld of Zeppelin, Fleetwood and Supertramp. Listened to it a few times now, and preparing to go rooting into their back catalogue.

That's odd, was looking back nostalgically & noticed my original incarnation of 'mitten' which I retired at 2112 posts in honour of our great thread now only has 2110 posts - I wonder what happened to the other 2 ?
Maybe Rolling Stone magazine hacked the site ansd deleted them in a fit of pique as they're well known Rush haters
